May perfect rest renew us inwardly,
So that from anxious troubles we are free!
All that You give, may we hear, trustfully:
May perfect rest renew us inwardly!
Patiently waiting with an inner calm;
May we be still, unshaken, without qualm.
Make us serene, O sooth us by Your balm!
